Form I-956F is the application a regional center files for approval of an investment offering / project under the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act framework. When USCIS approves an I-956F, it has reviewed aspects of that offering’s compliance and job-creation methodology as presented in the filing. That review is meaningful diligence context. It is not a substitute for independent review of the business plan, capital stack, sponsor history, or offering documents, and it does not assure immigration approval or return of capital for any investor.
Some investors also evaluate projects that are still pending I-956F adjudication. That situation involves different timing and documentation questions.
